Welcome to Summer Reading!

Summer at the Norfolk Public Library is going to be green-tacular! Your goal is to read, or be read to, at least 100 minutes per week. Read books, magazines, short stories, websites, newspapers, the back of the cereal box, ANYTHING! So keep reading, track your minutes online and you'll be in for some awesome surprises! There are links and information all around this website to help you get set up for this season. Questions about anything? Email Andrea, Youth Librarian or call the library at 508-528-3380 x5. It IS Easy Being Green!

Let's start summer off with a bang! I know it isn't officially the summer reading program yet, but it's never early to start going green! Every Monday, I'll post a new video about ways in which we can contribute more to a greener earth. This week's video comes from Mother Nature Network, a great website that has all kiiiiinds of great tips for a greener lifestyle. And they even managed to get some ideas from these Gleeks. Did I say GLEEKS?! You bet I did! Check out Finn, Sue Sylvester and more. Enjoy and GO GREEN!
